Dr. Watt received his Doctorate of Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with specialized child and family training. He completed his internship at the Watson Institute in Sewickley, PA completing psychological evaluations and providing treatment for children on the Autism Spectrum. . He has served as clinical director at Behavioral Health Services since 2015. Dr. Watt is certified in administering Autism/ADOS2 testing to aid in determining appropriate diagnosis and making treatment recommendations. He also received early training in psychological testing at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh – Child Development Unit. He has extensive experience treating and assessing children and adults with all mental health and developmental disorders. Although much of his earlier work was with children on the autism spectrum, Dr. Watt has spent the past several years acquiring a broad range of therapy and assessment experience working with children and adults. He has enjoyed learning new interventions and working with all mental health conditions. When working with adolescents and adults, Dr. Watt enjoys utilizing treatment approaches such as Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Clinical Hypnosis. He is also an adjunct professor at Saint Francis University. In his spare time, Dr. Watt enjoys exercising (running/biking), reading, and spending time with his wife and dogs.
